After attending UMBC with a major in Imaging and Digital Arts, I have been working in the graphic design and multimedia field for over ten years.

In 1999, I began my career working for Intermedia Kiosks, one of the industry-leading companies in multimedia touch screen kiosk software for food service and grocery markets. Arriving at the ground level of Intermedia's product development, I designed graphical user interfaces for Intermedia's software that have served as templates for the company's current interface designs used for clients throughout the US as well as the UK. Clients included Burger King, Jamba Juice, Jerry’s Subs, Stop & Shop, Giant Foods,  Royal Farms, and Johns Hopkins University.

In addition to my graphical interface work for Intermedia Kiosks, I was also an asset to the company's marketing department, designing print material, authoring interactive Flash presentations, and shooting and editing video presentations for DVD and web delivery. In addition, I designed and maintained the company's website, which included multimedia elements that promoted the company, such as video clips and Flash demos of Intermedia's software.

In 2006, I joined MaggieMoo’s International as the graphic designer for the company. As their sole graphic designer, I was responsible for all of MaggieMoo’s graphics needs in all departments, including marketing, training, and franchise sales. I designed promotional and permanent in-store POP material for all stores chain-wide, including signs, banners, window clings, menu boards and counter cards. I was also responsible for all of MaggieMoo’s local store marketing graphics, including ads, coupons, flyers, menus and brochures. I also supported MaggieMoo’s franchisees’ individual custom design needs on a regular basis.

I was an asset to MaggieMoo’s for many special projects. For the company’s operations team, I was responsible for designing graphics for a whole new training program, and associate produced a new training video as part of the program. Using my brochure and POP designs, the marketing team launched a successful chain-wide fundraising program. I was also responsible for all graphical aspects of MaggieMoo’s 2006 National Conference in Nashville, TN. In addition to design work, which included the conference logo, program, signage, and presentation themes, I produced multiple presentation videos for the conference and produced a recap set of training video DVDs from the conference.

In 2007, MaggieMoo’s was purchased by NexCen Brands. As sole graphic designer for NexCen Franchise Management, I continued to support the graphic design needs for the MaggieMoo’s brand, in addition to NexCen’s other franchise concepts, including Marble Slab Creamery, PretzelMaker, Pretzel Time, and the Athlete’s Foot.

In early 2008, I started my own graphic design consulting business, offering my contracted services. I am continuing my relationship with NexCen Franchise Management as consultant on many projects. I am also offering my services to franchisees of all of NexCen’s franchise concepts.

I'm a firm believer in the importance of enjoying what you do for a living. Enjoying your work gives you a passion for it, and in turn ensures your success in it. These are rules that I follow in my work every day.

For over a decade, I have made a major difference in the success of my employers and clients. Let me offer you the chance to do it again. Please contact me your all of your creative needs.
